So they should have quite a bit of cash now, or at least funding isn't a problem - unless they can no longer sell the game engine to anyone else now...

Unsure what's going to happen and I don't think they're having much money problems at the moment.  A lot of people have bought it (Anteworld that is) and they've already talked about being in contact with various army programs in multiple countries actually.  Hopefully there won't be one that will take it hostage.

That's probably okay then. If other military concerns are interested, then no one of them can claim exclusive usage rights.

A street-racing BMW...up there?  ;)

Is this a sign of more vehicles to come or just a user mod?

It's a static model at the moment, but they said it should be drivable eventually.

A good car then for all those roads people have been building - it's never get off that hill otherwise  ;)

It's looking like quite a mix of vehicles people can use to explore the world in then.

No, they're still stationary (except for the green truck which was already in it), but hopefully things will start to become drivable soon.  The importer tool is built into the engine now.

Importer tool, for importing your own creations or importing vehicle models from other games?

That's a pretty neat implementation, whichever way.

3D models in the Collada format.

They mentioned something about importing vehicle models and eventually being able to choose preset(?) physics for them (and of course you'd be able to add more into the engine if you know how), but I have no idea how that would work.  :o
