They're running a "secret" beta at the moment link to through Twitter.  It seems to only supports it through Steam which isn't the "version" I actually use. 

Looks like I gotta do that now.    Obviously gonna miss this event though.  Looks like it's making really quick progress now.

$15 (+$8 for DLC).  It's not on sale right now, but I gotta get it.

Luckily, the lag to other players doesn't seem to cause you to lag and skip around from your view which makes laggy play at least a bit more enjoyable, especially like in this video.

Looks like loads of fun, though having AI around, at least at the military bases etc. would make it even better.  I think getting a group together to attack base after base would be awesome. 

How many people is it allowing on the map?  I didn't know modders could charge for mods...

I haven't watched this second vid, but I assume this is just basically a free for all right?  I mean, no organized objectives or teams per se.  Of course with 150 people online you could get some people together to form some teams or alliances or just head off and see what people are doing.  To me, the combination of exploring/searching and running into lots of other players sounds pretty interesting, rather than just a free for all in the city (which would still be fun in its own right for awhile)

Well when the server was only going to be up for a few hours... of course it was a complete free for all.

lol um... Perhaps you should try MMOs...  LIKE GW2!

lol yeah, well monthly fees just don't sit well with me.  Maybe some don't have that setup, but I thought most MMOs do.  I still haven't decided to try and upgrade the PC, buy/build new, or leave it as is for now.

That's a big reason why I got Guild Wars 2.  It has no monthly fee! (And it's awesome!  )

Played a lot tonight and at least vehicle sync works very well.  So much fun, but could be even more fun with friends. 

Currently 470+ Players in one server. That's how we roll!

Oh so much fun!  Somebody organized races on the 2 dirt tracks and it got a little overcrowded, but it was hilariously awesome.  That went on for a long time until the guy running it ragequit twice without telling anyone because of the people bombing us.  Apparently he has a really short temper because it wasn't that bad.    You just gotta outrun them. 

The server topped out at 615 players at one point.  Right now, however, I think somebody might have attacked the server, so it's down until further notice.
